About

Hello, my name is Wendy. I am primarily a Wildlife and Nature photographer. I created Journeys View as a place to share the adventures and photographs, I have had the opportunity to take over the years. By sharing these images my hope is that others, especially those who do not have the opportunity to travel, can experience these wild places, and gain an appreciation and understanding of how perfect and beautiful nature truly is.

According to researchers, it is said that just 23% of the planet’s land surface (excluding Antarctica) and 13% of the ocean can be classified as wilderness, (untouched by human). This number continues to decline.

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.

Let us leave a splendid legacy for our children...let us turn to them and say, this you inherit: guard it well, for it is far more precious than money...and once destroyed, nature's beauty cannot be repurchased at any price.
